ConneX trial extended

The ConneX shared-ride pilot service in Sartell is extended through December 31, 2021. Previously the pilot was set to expire at the end of this year.
In early 2020, Metro Bus extended the pilot service with new hours and an increased fare. A decision on whether to make the service permanent or revert to a Fixed Route for the area is expected before the expiration of the pilot.
The extension to the pilot program through the end of 2021 allows time for Metro Bus to gather data on the effectiveness and efficiency of ConneX with the new hours and fares as we adjust to living with COVID-19.
