Like Minnesotans across the state, Metro Bus employees are looking forward to the start of spring after our long, snowy winter. With the official start of spring, and hopefully better weather with it, just around the corner customers and community members throughout St. Cloud, Sartell, Sauk Rapids and Waite Park are invited to show appreciation for the service these dedicated public servants have provided over the last year.

Metro Bus asks those who use and appreciate Fixed Route, Dial-a-Ride, Northstar Link and ConneX services to share their gratitude with the Bus Operators and other transit employees who serve our Central Minnesota communities. On Friday, March 17 thank a Bus Operator, send us a message of commendation via the Metro Bus Facebook page or give a shout out on your preferred social media platform.

Metro Bus CEO Ryan I. Daniel explains how public transportation professionals go above and beyond on a daily basis, “Transit Employee Appreciation Day is dedicated to the people who get you where you need to go in a safe, reliable and friendly manner each and every day!” Daniel continues, “This winter our Bus Operators have dealt with unprecedented snow, ice, cold and wind yet have maintained quality service the entire time. Myself, the rest of the Metro Bus Executive Team and management, as well as our Board of Commissioners are so proud of the commitment our employees display and their perseverance in providing excellent transportation for our friends, families and neighbors!”
