Metro Bus Fare Change Meeting set for November 5
As part of the Metro Bus Forward Long-Range Transit Plan, a fare analysis was conducted to evaluate Metro Bus’s current fare structure, policies and technologies. The study also evaluated fare policies and performance of several peer agencies to determine best practices that may be applicable for Metro Bus.
Based on the findings of the study, Metro Bus is proposing changes to the fare structure for its services and will host a public meeting to introduce the proposed changes. Members of the public, including those who currently use Metro Bus services, are encouraged to attend and provide feedback on the proposed changes.
The meeting will be limited to sharing the proposed fare changes and gathering feedback. No further information will be available regarding the service changes or timing of implementation.
