In May 2026, the Minnesota Safety Council presented winners of their annual Governor’s Workplace Safety Awards which “recognize and celebrate employers throughout the State of Minnesota for safety and health excellence in protecting our workforce from injuries, illnesses and incidents.” Metro Bus received the Bronze Award which is given to organizations that achieve an incidence-rate better than the 50th percentile of either the state or national average.
